Urban Light

Detail of The Orator

13 August 2015 LACMA isn’t the Louve, but it does have some stunning paintings such as “The Orator” by Magnus Zeller, a particularly vivid piece illustrating the period before Hitler’s rise to power.

Bunnyhenge Revisited

June 21, 2015 I looked for a different vantage point. There’s a bridge over an adjacent street, so I climbed the stairs and found this overlook.

Bunnyhenge

June 7, 2015 This was originally intended as a circle where children could sit on the rabbits, but it attained cult status as a sculpture. There are fourteen rabbits sitting in the circle, discussing, it is said, world domination or just where they can find a good source of carrots and greens.

Date: June 17, 2013 Some of the garden art at Villa Vizcaya, Miami, Florida. Another Sprocket Rocket creation. Obviously a Roman empress or an Italian noblewoman who wanted to be thought of as one, but who?
