We were in Miami for a Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance conference. By some stroke of luck, we were given a room on the 14th floor with this view of the city. I accidentally double-exposed it, but I don’t think it hurts the shot.

The camera I used here was a Lomography Sprocket Rocket which was based on the Dick Tracy cameras of the late 1940s. You get these wide photos that take up the space of two negatives. This is one of the cameras that I like to take on trips because it is light and easy to use.

What a view – I love all the lights. The double-exposure effect is subtle & cool.

Wow – a DBSA conference? I’m impressed! I’m about to reinstate the Santa Cruz chapter I started in 2011. I hope you found your time there inspiring and worthwhile.
