The Entrance to the Marsh

The Entrance to the Marsh

May 2, 2015

The San Joaquin Wildlife Refuge is an artificial marsh developed by the Irvine Water District so that they would not be flushing clean — and thus sterile — water into the Upper Newport Bay. I lead a hike here every month.

I did something experimental here: I used a yellow graduated filter. I think it gives the sky an interesting hue.
