I have mixed feelings about having taken this shot. On one hand, I think it is a fine composition. The unconsciousness of the man is contrasted by the indifference of those passing by. On the other, I can’t help but feel that I turned a living person into an object. Does this kind of photo help the homeless or does it make us more immune to compassion?
