The visit to her hogan was part of a tour. I was overwhelmed by her dress — why can’t more of us wear such bright colors? To take this photo, I literally got down on my knees (I am 6′ 6 1/2″).
Her expression seems to change every time I look at it. Sometimes she is laughing as if she is sharing a joke, something grimacing in pain at yet another tourist taking her picture.
